One year on, we revisited Blenheim Palace to spot butterflies, explore the adventure play and get completely lost in a maze...
Arriving at Blenheim with Grandpa and friend in tow - drizzly weather didn't put us off enjoying all the activities in store.
Butterfly times
The hot house at Blenheim houses moths and butterflies galore - large and small, colourful and plain. The children were fascinated to see huge species float by and learn more about metamorphosis on seeing the cabinet of chrysalis the stage of a butterfly or moth's life cycle when it transforms from a caterpillar to a winged adult.
Adventure Play
Second year running the kiddos laughed, played, made new buddies and generally ran riot for two hours in this fabulous fortress of fun.
